We keep our collection of personal data to the minimum needed to publish an editorial review site and to understand whether it is useful. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not operate any login area. We do not collect your name, national identity number, passport data, payment details, trading account credentials, deposit records or any information about your finances. We are not the broker, we are not affiliated with the broker, and we do not provide financial services, accounts, deposits or advice, so there is no reason for us to hold such data.
If a contact route is needed, the only way to reach us is the contact form on this site. Anything you choose to type into that form is received by us as a message. We ask that you do not send sensitive information through it, because we do not need it and cannot protect more than you choose to disclose. Ordinary technical information is generated automatically when any website is opened, such as the type of device or browser used, the page requested, the approximate region indicated by the network connection, and the time of the visit. This is described in the next section because we treat it as measurement rather than as a profile of you.
Analytics and Aggregates
We use measurement tools to count visits, see which pages are read, and identify pages that fail to load or are hard to find. These tools record the technical information described above and produce statistics in aggregate form. We look at totals and trends, not at the behaviour of a named reader.
We do not build profiles of individual readers, we do not combine measurement data with any other information to single you out, and we do not use it to target advertising at you personally. Where a measurement tool offers a choice about cookies or similar storage, we respect the choice you make. You can also block or clear such storage in your browser settings; the pages will still open, although our counts will be less accurate.
Sharing and Sale
We share data only with the service providers that keep this site running: the provider that hosts the site and its servers, and the provider of the measurement tools described above. These recipients act on our instructions and are permitted to use the data only for the purposes we set. We do not name them here because they may change, but the categories remain the same: hosting and measurement. If the law requires disclosure, for example in response to a valid legal request, we may have to provide what we hold, which is limited to the categories described in this policy.
We never sell your data. We do not rent it, trade it, or pass it to the broker reviewed on this site or to any other broker, platform, marketer or data broker. We do not send marketing messages, and we do not share contact form messages for promotional purposes. Because we do not hold trading or financial records, there is nothing of that kind that could be shared or sold.
Reader Rights
You may ask what data we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct anything wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to a particular use. You may also withdraw any consent you gave, such as agreement to measurement storage, without affecting the lawfulness of what happened before. To make a request, use the contact form on this site and describe what you want; we will respond within a reasonable period and may ask for enough detail to find the relevant records, which in most cases is very little because we hold very little.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the data protection authority in your country. We will cooperate with a lawful request from such an authority.
Location and Retention
Our servers and those of our hosting and measurement providers may sit outside Kenya, including in other jurisdictions. Where data is transferred across borders, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers and require them to protect the data to a standard consistent with this policy. The recipients described above are the only ones that may hold data on our behalf, and they do so under contract.
We keep contact form messages only as long as needed to deal with the matter raised and any follow-up, then delete them. Aggregated measurement statistics are kept for a limited period for trend comparison and are then discarded or reduced to totals that no longer relate to any single visit. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting, then removed. We do not keep data longer than the purpose requires, and we review retention periodically. This policy may be updated; the current version always applies to your use of the site.
