About the Editorial Team
Who we are, how we work, and what our review of JustMarkets for Kenyan readers can and cannot tell you.
See what the sponsor offersThe Obligation We Accept
This site exists because a reader in Kenya trying to judge a broker deserves an account written for that purpose alone, not a sales page dressed as a review. We take on a single obligation: to describe JustMarkets as accurately as our methods allow, and to be open about how we reached each conclusion. The site is built for individual traders and prospective clients in Kenya who want to understand what the broker offers, what it costs, and where the risks sit before they commit any money.
We are an independent editorial resource. We are not the broker, we are not affiliated with the broker, and we do not provide financial services, trading accounts, deposits, payments or advice. Nothing published here is a recommendation to open an account or to trade. Our readers remain the only people responsible for their decisions.
How We Test And Score
Our assessment starts with the account itself. Where a feature can be observed directly, we observe it: the registration steps, the identity checks, the layout of the trading interface, the order types available, the spread and commission figures shown on live instruments, and the deposit and withdrawal routes offered to Kenyan clients. We record what appears on screen and in the broker's own documents, and we note the date of each observation so readers know how current it is.
Scoring follows fixed categories agreed before testing begins, so the result cannot be steered after the fact. We weigh costs, execution conditions, platform reliability, funding methods, the clarity of the broker's terms and the quality of its support for this market. A weak result in one category is stated plainly and is not offset by strength elsewhere. We do not issue a single overall grade that hides the detail; the reasoning behind every score is set out so a reader can disagree with our weighting and still use the facts.
Where The Facts Come From
The factual base is the broker's own published documentation: client agreement, risk disclosure, fee schedule, product list and the legal and regulatory information the broker presents to clients in Kenya. We compare those documents against what the trading environment actually does, because a term written in a contract and a term applied in practice are not always the same thing. Where we rely on the broker's statements, we say so.
Every figure and claim is checked before publication, and reviewed again when the broker changes its terms. We distinguish throughout between what we verified ourselves, what the broker asserts, and what we could not confirm. If a question stays open, we write that it stays open rather than filling the gap with an assumption.
What We Will Not Do
We will not accept payment for a verdict, a score, a ranking or a softened description. We will not publish a claim we could not check as though we had checked it. We will not invent details, and we will not present the broker's marketing language as our own finding. We will not offer trading signals, portfolio guidance or any instruction to buy or sell, and we will not handle client money or act as an intermediary in any dispute.
Corrections are made openly. When we get something wrong, the page is amended and the change is noted.
Limits, And How We Are Paid
A review describes conditions at a point in time. Spreads widen, terms change, funding methods appear and disappear, and the experience of one client is not the experience of every client. We cannot verify how the broker will treat an individual case, how a withdrawal will run on a given day, or what will happen in a market stress we have not seen. Our pages are a starting point for a reader's own checks, not a substitute for them, and they are not legal, tax or investment advice.
The site pays for itself through commercial arrangements with the broker, disclosed on the pages they affect. Payment buys placement, never conclusions: the testing, the scoring and the wording of the review are settled by the editorial team alone before any commercial discussion, and a commercial relationship has never changed a score. Readers who want to raise a point can use the contact form on this site.
